Inexperienced Governor Chosen as VP

CNN and C-Span are confirming that John McCain has chosen Alaska’s Governor Sarah Palin as his VP Candidate.

She is Alaska’s first women Governor and elected in 2006.

This move is widely viewed as a move to capture “Hillary” Democrats but may backfire since Palin is so ardently against Pro-choice. Also how about McCain’s vote against women’s rights and equal pay.

McCain has widely criticized Obama for his “in-experience” to be Commander in Chief, but he picks a running mate with only two years experience as a Governor.

This will prove to be an interesting day and the Republican Convention will have to “spin” a great deal to make this work.
