Business Association Cleanup
The Downtown Warren Business Association’s
Annual Spring Cleanup
A little spit and polish for Downtown
Sunday, May 4, 2008
The Downtown Warren Business Association is inviting business, residents and civic groups to help spruce up the downtown area with our annual Spring Cleanup.
Anyone who wants to help tidy up the Historic Downtown Business District can meet DWBA members and other volunteers 9 a.m. at the Gazebo in Court House Square.
We’re going to plant flowers, pull weeds, sweep sidewalks, pick up garbage and, if weather permits, we’ll even wash and clean some windows.
The annual event has become an activity for residents who want to show they care about the community they live and work in. It doesn’t take a lot to join in – just some elbow grease and a willingness to help.
We just ask that you bring your own gloves, a broom if you have one, a shovel or any type of tool that can help us.
Volunteers are not asked to do any heavy work, just to give downtown a little cleansing.
As a reward for their efforts, volunteers will be treated to food and refreshments provided by grateful Downtown Warren Businesses Association members.
See you on the square !
